A Zaporizhia una giovane donna, Katerina, si è salvata abbracciando sotto le macerie il suo gatto. La sua casa è stata colpita da un razzo russo e completamente distrutta. Kateryna dice di avere tre gatti: uno è stato salvato con lei e ne sta ancora cercando altri due.
Zaporizhia e’ la sesta città dell’Ucraina per popolazione, con 815 256 abitanti ed è particolarmente nota come centro industriale automobilistico, chimico, elettrotecnico, metallurgico e siderurgico oltre ad essere uno snodo portuale e ferroviario e sede di numerosi impianti per la produzione di energia elettrica tra cui la centrale nucleare a Enerhodar (la più grande d’Europa e tra le prime dieci al mondo.

In Zaporizhia a young woman, Katerina, saved herself by embracing her cat under the rubble. Her house was hit by a Russian rocket and completely destroyed. Kateryna says she has three cats – one was rescued with her and is still looking for two more.
Zaporizhia is the sixth largest city in Ukraine by population, with 815 256 inhabitants and is particularly known as an automotive, chemical, electrotechnical, metallurgical and iron and steel industrial center as well as being a port and railway hub and home to numerous plants for the production of energy electricity including the nuclear power plant at Enerhodar (the largest in Europe and among the top ten in the world)
